ABOUT
US

Malua Bay is in the Eurobodalla region on the South Coast of NSW.
It is an exposed beach break that is usually a safe bet for a fun wave. It works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast.
The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Best around mid tide.
our
goals
Malua Boardriders is a new incarnation of the original club that was started by local surfers in late 70s. Malua Boardriders is affiliated with Surfing NSW, and our sole aim is to support surfers at all levels reach their goals and potential in a supportive environment.
We encourage people of all ages and skill level to just get in the water and enjoy our beautiful ocean or just to hang out with friends, maybe even make new ones.
We have events for a huge range of abilities and encourage boardrider members competing from a grassroots level. To keep in touch or find out about our ever evolving club, please join our mailing list and connect to our social pages. Stay tuned!

SURF SISTER PROJECT

The Surf Sisters of Malua Boardriders were lucky enough to spend the weekend being coached by Pam Burridge in and out of the water. Pam is known as one of Australia’s first professional surfer girls and continues to encourage and inspire surfers from all walks of life. The Surf Sisters had an absolutely amazing weekend full of comradery, great food, lots of learning and a little yoga!
